Week 1 Reflections:
Today was my first day attending the lecture and participating in outreach, and honestly, it was a very special experience for me. Learning about Buddhism, Shinto, and the Japanese mindset toward Christianity opened my eyes and helped me understand the culture and people here more deeply. It made me realize that sharing the Gospel in Japan requires patience, wisdom, and love.
What excited me the most was going out for outreach and handing out flyers to people. Since it was my first time, I felt nervous at the beginning, but I also felt happy and encouraged to be part of something meaningful. It was a new experience for me, and I am grateful to have taken this first step in serving and sharing Christ with others.
This experience made me even more excited for what lies ahead in this program. I am looking forward to learning more, growing spiritually, gaining confidence in outreach, and seeing how God will use this journey to shape my faith and purpose.
